Downloading Swiss-PdbViewer


Important note:

Please join the Swiss-PdbViewer Discussion Group: You can use this forum for sharing ideas, questions, and concerns about Swiss-PdbViewer and its applications in research, teaching, and publishing.


The current stable version is 4.0.1

We have added a few new tutorial pages that explain some of the new features:

  • how to define and search 3D patterns. (June 2008)
  • Direct Server support: You may import PDB or ExPDB files, SwissProt and RefSeq entries Electron Density Maps, Compounds, etc. into Swiss-Pdb Viewer directly from the network. (Revised June 2008)
  • The Find dialog has been improved (PROSITE pattern search) allowing for mismatches.

Now download the most recent version (4.0.1)

Macintosh (OSX Universal Binary)
Microsoft Windows
Linux (currently not supported see how to run with wine

 

 

You might also want to download:

  • The User Guide (pdf)
  • The Tutorial Material
  • The most recent version of the Prosite file (prosite.dat) and place it into the "_stuff_" directory.
  • Download Pov-Ray. This step is useful only if you intend to make ray-traced images from your molecules.
